2015 Dispirit - Top 100 albums

The final and most important post of the year, the one post I've been thinking about ever since the beginning, and mainly the reason I keep the blog alive. It's whether you have the high fidelity syndrome or you don't, so I hope the people who will spend time on it are the ones who approve of the process of personal documentation at the end of every year. It's not fun. We don't enjoy it. It enjoys us, and we do it because we have to.

I didn't really plan it to happen but since the albums got together, why not... It's not a genre I examined closely this year though and it's not something I examine closely in general. Some of it always feels good though!

I was willing to include a funeral doom part as well but it turns out I haven't listened to many albums there, since i didn't think Bell Witch was that special and totally missed Tyranny. However, there were some clean doom metal albums that stayed with me this year.

It's that time of the year, you know. As I've told before, even if I never write for this blog again, I will come back at the end of the year to post the end year lists I had in mind, so at least you can sleep well on that thought. I didn't catch up with too many demos this time and there will only be 10 EPs, I'm thinking of more stuff to come and of course a big album list will headline the series. If you're reading this, thanks for arriving here after all this time.

May the new month bring you misery
